This is bothersome. I install nLite v 1.9.0.7455-64bit. I have Win8 installed on my machine and I want to make an ISO file to install Win10. I load the original ISO and load it.
I then start to make customizations to my new proposed operating system for Win10 and I LOSE my settings on my original Win8 install. Specifically most all of the files in the directory: C:\Users\Gary\AppData\Roaming. This effectively wipes out my live version of Win8. I have NOT clicked on apply so I don't understand why Live install is updating and destroying my Win8 install.
I then have to restore an image of Drive C using Acronis and start all over. I've lost about 10 hours doing this.
My question is: How do I make nTLite NOT make modifications to my live version of Win8 and still be able to create my new ISO for Win10?
