Yes I am using the latest with the power shell script but that doesn’t execute until the desktop has loaded from what I can tell since when the desktop loads it starts with the default grey then uses the dark mode from the power shell script.
My issue is that when I am starting a clean install...
I am having an issue with the latest 2022-10-23 preset on both vm and real pc where after windows installs then restarts and is at the black “getting ready” screen it stays there for a few minutes then the “getting ready” goes away and nothing happens. I left it there for 20 minutes and the dial...
No problem! Thanks for the link, that led to me resolving the issue.
Well if there’s anything I can do to help give you any necessary info let me know. All I can say for sure is that this issue definitely began happening in the last few months.
I have used ntlite for many years and just recently I can't get ntlite to launch at all. I tried the portable version and installed version but it won't launch. I am using windows 10 64bit version 1909
If during the unattended setup within ntlite I want to change my Windows product key I can simply edit that without editing of the unattended file. If I want to add or delete windows updates from being integrated I can easily do that without editing the unattended file.
I just don’t understand...
Thank you very much for the reply!
I guess what I am asking for is an easier way of just being able to edit such information within ntlite during the configuration of my settings.
You can easily create a local account and set the username & password in ntlite but if you wish to change it...
Is there a way to edit the login information of a created user account in ntlite before ISO creation? It seems like I have to delete the user account and recreate the user if I want to change the username or password.
Thanks for the reply! So then would all I need to do is extract the iso, add my new registry files, then use something like imgburn to make another iso?
Hello,
Can you add a modified registry file to $OEM$\$$\Setup\Files after ntlite creates an ISO? I like to try out my ISO in virtualbox to make sure they work and don't break anything but currently every time I change registry files and place them in the Sources\$OEM$\$$\Setup\Files folder of...
I want to automatically remove the windows mail icon from the task bar but the only way I have found to do so is to run an xml file.
Is it possible to run an external xml file during the post set up installation?
I was trying to add a reg file with many different tweaks and got the error '[50] The request is not supported.' when I tried to add my reg file.
I have attached a copy of my reg file. My reg file was made from various reg tweaks online. I would appreciate any input.
I made a new unattended iso with ntlite and when testing it out in virtual box it gave me the “windows could not parse or process unattend answer file”. How do I find the log file located in “Windows\Panther\unattendGC\setupact.log” to see what the error was on my virtual machine?
Thank you very much for the info, it has really helped!
Through a lot of digging around I think I may have found the cause of the scripts not working for me in post-setup.
This whole time I had been using Win 10 Home with the factory OEM key provided by my manufacturer for the unattended...
I noticed that when I added the setupcomplete.cmd and on the post set up page of ntlite I hit “reset” and all of the commands I added to the cmd file showed up.
What brought me to wanting to use a batch script in the post set up page was I actually manually added all of the power plan settings...
I get that but don’t I need to add a command or switch to run the batch script like I would if I was adding a silent installer? Or will just dragging the file into the program be all I need to do?
