thanks for the report.
Is R:\Temp on a RAM drive, portable or some kind of a mounted drive?
Meanwhile try without the KB5001412, to avoid that boot.wim error if the above didn't help.
I haven't seen this in my tests, could be due to that temporary folder.
It states error 3 (ERROR_PATH_NOT_FOUND) on saving boot.wim, makes no sense - only if boot.wim's 'R:\Temp\NLTmpMount02' disappeared in the meantime, just guessing.

yes R is a ramdrive. I've been doing this for quite a while now without issue. The last time I've been making images was one I've made was for 20h1 back in Feb. Used ramdrive back then too without any issue. I'll try without that KB, one with and one without the ramdrive.
