1) Update integration is broken on build 6996 I'm getting 0xc00000142 BSOD works fine with build 1.8.0.6976
2) Removing Internet Explorer 64bit breaks explorers
Chrome Downloads > Show to Folder
Properties>Open File Location

Tried it several times both with Recommended Compatibility and <DisableProtections>false</DisableProtections>, Yes I'm a bit extreme when it comes to them removals and manage to locate where the BSOD and glitch are coming from by trial and error although it's time consuming but I'm used to it since nLite days

Hi,

1) update integration hasn't been changed, maybe update cleanup you meant?
I'll send you a new version which might solve it, if not I'll check it thoroughly.
2) if those are 32-bit apps, try keeping Browser window frame (IEFrame - 32 bit). Of course 64-bit one too but I don't see that one in your preset so it should be kept. IEFrame should be responsible for open with, if you see otherwise let me know.

Thanks for the feedback.

Yeah that probably it is.

I've tried that enabling that as well but that doesn't solve the issue, 64bit Browser window frame doesn't exists on removals.

OK, please try the pre-release, then depending how it goes I test the IE removal in 8.1.

Thanks.

That indeed fixes the integration cleanup issue thanks!
Good. Sending you another version with IEFrame 64 enabled for Win8.1, for some reason that separated subcomponent was shown on Win10 only.

Will test it out immediately, on side note though the ISO is larger 200MB+ compared to 6976 build
Probably due to Windows Update compatibility fixes.

To remove much more you would need to remove Windows Update and disable Servicing Stack compatibility.

Regression fixed, I can now remove Internet Explorer without breaking windows explorer and the 64bit Browser window frame are now showing as well.

Edit:
BTW removing Modem App support on Windows 8.1 breaks windows setup installation.

Edit 2:
On Windows 8.1 Text Prediction also breaks windows search on explorer I just found about it just now.

I found another regression whenever I'm running this program HFS (HTTP File Server) that is based on javascript I always get 0x0eedfade this also affects installation of NVIDIA Installer which just automatically crash and for some reason. I was unable to install nvidia driver through device manager as well the error is file not found. Upon checking the error code on google the error is related to internet explorer. I've already tried not removing x64 and x86 Internet Explorer, IEFrame using Recommended and using DisableProtection=False or with/without windows update. I also encountered this error on 6976 build and still I can't find where the regression is.

Please try build 7025, fixed 8.1 support, and Text Prediction, thanks for the feedback.
If you see any issues, let me know.

Everything works great now except the NVIDIA Installer it's still keeps crashing did everything that I could to isolate it but no avail.
Edit: Even on non modified iso it also keeps closing
