Hello,

I update my ISO without changing my preset on a monthly basis.

Here are the changes :

- updated .NET 6 framework from v6.0.9 to v6.10
- updated Visual C++ Redistributable Runtimes (abbodi1406) from v0.61 to v0.63
- integrated latest Windows updates

Windows updates used in old ISO (with NTLite v2.3.8.8890):

Now, I have the issue described here. It is indeed fixed by launching ctfmon.exe manually as described, which wasn't necessary previously.

It seems unlikely that .NET or Visual C++ cause the issue.

It could be a faulty Windows Update, but I haven't found any report about that issue recently, so I don't know.

It could also be a change in NTLite. Old & new presets attached if needed.

Thank you in advance for your insight.

I would say the latest CU conflicts with one of your removals. Roll back Oct 22 to Sep 22, but keep all other changes and test.
ctfmon is impacted by accessibility, on-screen keyboard and maybe snipping tool.

SoulRipper, thanks for reporting, already fixed this one for the next version so I might have the solution for you until released.
Keep <c>osk 'On-Screen Keyboard (Tablet PC)'</c>

Let me know if that's it, or if you want the pre-release to try removing it instead.

Lucky guess or higher power? :)
Thanks, that is a helpful aim for the future.
