Can't Create Restore Points (GamerOS)

I used Txmmy's GamersOS on a iso downloaded from uupdump, windows 11 version 23h2. Everything has worked great so far, but The tab where i can create restore points is gone. Is there a way for me to get it back, or at the very least a way that i can create restore points without that tab?

Open the GamerOS preset in Notepad, and remove the line:
Code:
                <c>systemrestore 'System Restore'</c>

im sorry, how would i do this if i am already running the operating system? do i have to completely reinstall the iso again with all the steps i did previously in NTlite but this time just remove that line? or is there a way to do that without reinstalling windows? Im sorry im new to all of this.

Install NTLite on the live system, and perform a host refresh (which essentially is a repair reinstall). You will need a copy of the clean ISO, and preferably a copy of the fixed preset (from above).

Follow these instructions:
https://www.ntlite.com/v1-2-stable-released/
Can you elaborate on that a little more? I was reading that post, because I was interested in simply adding a few components. But it doesn't seem like a remove OR add system. It seems like a add and remove system at the same time. i.e. removing all the components you did before and adding them in the same pass, rather than selecting nothing at all except for 1 item, and having that item installed (leaving everything else untouched that's already installed).

I tried it on a test os I built, and it seemed to simply spit out errors about not finding a function, so I figured maybe I was doing something wrong.

Yeah, it's untouched. Should I use one that isn't? Actually, that would make more sense, if I were to make one with all the things I wanted, then couldn't I just use that and select all?
