Change default screen resolution

Hello friends

Do you know if it is possible to set the default résolution of the Windows installation in NTLite, because it puts the screen in 3840x2160, I would like to put it in 1280x720 for example

Window will default to the highest screen resolution the graphics driver detects on the display monitor. You can't assign a different resolution ahead of time because each hardware device is randomly assigned a different GUID during installation.

But you can run Nirsoft's MultiMonitorTool from Post-Setup (User):

MultiMonitorTool.exe /SetMonitors "Name=\\.\DISPLAY1 Width=1280 Height=720"

I ran the multimonitor from post (user) but it does not give me the desired configuration when installing Windows 1280 x720, there may be something I am doing wrong I put the capture

is you graphic card already installed when the command is launched? If not, the system may be unable to pull the monitor topology/configuration and follow up with config.

I used the same setting, and it doesn't work for me either, I tried with different graphics cards from Nvidia GeForce rtx 3050, rtx 3060, rtx4060 with all three it doesn't work, I also wanted that after installation, it gives me the resolution 1280*720 nothing to do, I don't see where the problem could come from.
 
Older amd gpu - R5 230 - Screen Resolution doesnt show screen max res until driver is installed.
 
I only get the native resolution, 1650x1080 after i install display driver. If you set the resolution before the gpu driver is installed it may not work.
Havnt noticed it on intel 8/9th gen igpus, just amd r5 230.

Crap, monitors inf, erm, now you got me. :confused::rolleyes:
 
Your monitor has a "driver", which is really an INF file which lists all the supported video modes. Find your monitor's driver package, extract the files, and add the folder just like you did with NVIDIA.
