Cleaning mounted directory

Hi there,

I'm new to the forum.

So we've been trying to add drivers to my Win 7 so it can install automatically on my new desktop. Unfortunately it didn't work, so we are trying to do it again from scratch.

We clicked on "forget" and now it says "Complete - cleaning mounted directory," but it's not doing anything.

We refreshed and even Xed out & restarted, it still says that.

How long does it normally take to do that?

That would indicate something is locking the temp folder, maybe your real-time security software. Temporarily disable it, or add NTLite and its folders to the exclusion list.

We didn't turn that off & that wasn't the issue, we renamed the folder & then it stopped.

We are continuing with the process. I'll create another thread with the error that just popped up.

DISM++ is your friend in certain scenarios, ie. unload mounted images in a snap.
