I wanted the same thing but apperantly when u delete internetexplorer there can be unexpected errors on other 3rdparty softwares...
So I Did This;
-Only removed edge component as modern app
-Only removed adobe flash component in internetexplorer
-Disabled InternetExplorer from features page instead of deleting the component.
It depends on whether you want to maintain compatibility with Store and Windows Apps or not.
* ActiveX Compatibility Flags (Killbits)
* ActiveX Installer Service
* Internet Explorer
* Internet Explorer - 32 bit
* Adobe Flash for Internet Explorer
* Edge
* EdgeDevToolClient
* Edge HTML Viewer - 32 bit (If you use Windows Apps keep this)
* WebMediaExtensions (If you use Windows Apps keep this)
* WebpImageExtension (If you use Windows Apps keep this)
* Browser Brokers (If you use Windows Apps keep this)
* Win32WebViewHost
* SecureAssessmentBrowser
I remove all these components and it's good for me
And keep
* Internet Explorer JSCript
* Internet Explorer JSCript - 32bit
* IE HTLM Viewer (for service and gpedit.msc options on the left)
* IE HTLM Viewer - 32 bit (for Nvidia Installer)
* Edge HTLM
* IEFrame
* IEFrame - 32bit (for url handling from the apps)
* ActiveX Installer Service (Required for IE to run UAC when installing ActiveX controls)
* Internet Explorer
* Internet Explorer - 32 bit (If removed causes error activating or deactivating IE in Features)
