DesktopAppInstaller.admx error (NTLite v2024.3.9785)

Removing DesktopAppInstaller with the latest release of NTLite on the latest version of Windows 11 (March 2024 update) causes "An appropriate resource file could not be found for file C:\Windows\PolicyDefinitions\DesktopAppInstaller.admx (error = 2): The System cannot find the file specified" when launching Local Security Policy.

DesktopAppInstaller.admx is actually present in that location, but it should not be. Removing it from that location resolves the issue, but "SFC /Scannow" restores the file. Microsoft updated a bunch of GPEDIT files in the latest March 2024 security and opening GPEDIT results in the same error.

Basically, there are 2 ways to fix this if anyone else encounters. One way is to remove both - ADML and ADMX files for DesktopAppInstaller, but that breaks file integrity. The other way is to simply copy/paste whichever file is missing (ADML and ADMX). That preserves all integrity and gets rid of the mentioned error at the tiny cost of DesktopAppInstaller policies existing even though the component is gone.

Has this been resolved? It happened simply as a consequence of removing DesktopAppInstaller from the latest retail ISO and updating that ISO afterwards.

I'm guessing it's because NTLite downloads the GitHub stable build, which now includes a DesktopAppInstallerPolicies.zip
