Disable Critical Error Prompts (Start Menu)

Hi there,

Just wanted to know if there was a way to disable critical error prompts? In my ISO I've stripped out the Start Menu since I'm strictly using Open Shell. Works fine majority of the time but every so often I will get a "Critical Error" prompt saying my Start Menu isn't working. I'd go and add the start menu back to my ISO but I'm a little lazy to do that currently since I don't have an XML ready to go. But yea just wanting to know if there is a way to prevent the Critical Error message showing up in the first place.

Thanks

The current W10/11 desktop was never designed to work without Client.CBS, so there is no fallback for ignoring Critical Errors. Most 3rd-party desktop mods like Open Shell don't ask you to strip anything. While removing Client.CBS is growing as a popular "hack", it creates more problems than it solves.

Understood, appreciate the input very much thanks Garlin :)

I have the same thing after installing Windows (Start Menu removed), it only appears once and then I no longer see this "error" ;)
I use SAB

I delete "microsoftwindows.client.cbs" and no problem

I appreciate your input, I ended up just reworking my install and made it more functional in the end anyway. Thanks though :)
