Hi I'm running Windows 10 x64 1903 modified with this preset that I'm attaching. My problem is that I can drag and drop within file explorer to anywhere on my pc but if I try to drag and drop to a shared folder on another pc on the home network it does not work. If I copy and paste on the network all is fine. Can someone look at my preset to see if they can figure out what I removed to cause this problem. Thx in advance

i don't think it is about ntlite.

did you set folder's permissions to allow read/write data from others?

All permissions and sharing is set up properly. I can copy and paste so I can write to the folder just can't drag and drop. But just in case I will install a non modified windows to check.

It may be about explorer.exe can u restart it and try again?

it's ok I was able to figure part of it out. The folder that I created when I'm on the pc that I want to copy to had all the permissions right but I couldn't copy to it. What I did was from the pc that I want to copy from I created a subfolder in the folder that I couldn't copy to but I created it from the pc that I want to copy from. Anyway Its weird but I can drag and drop to the subfolder. So your right it's not an ntlite problem since I did this on an untouchd iso

glad that u figured it out, i think it's still permission issue about main folder, u may try to recreate that folder and other scenerios such as using admin account both pc's and disabling uac and antivirus

One more thing to note about network file handling.
If one application is elevated (run as admin), it cannot see or drag and drop to network shares unless a certain tweak is enabled in NTLite "Enable linked connections".
Research "EnableLinkedConnections" for security implications.
This may not be the cause in this case, but worth mentioning as it annoys the hell out of me as I handle a lot of shares from test machines.

As a sysadmin, this one bites my ass rather often.
