I use the latest version NTLite 2.3.7.8850 integrate updates and lite win8 and win8.1. Servicing stack compatibility is enabled. After installing, I use "Enable or Disable Windows features" , OptionalFeature.exe gives an error "The referenced assembly could not be found (0x80073701) ". But I use DISM /Online /Enable-Feature /FeatureName:xxxxx , the final display "operation completed successfully". This is amazing!

The same way on win7, this error will not occur.

Is this the right preset? I don't see any updates, or Feature on Demand changes.
I integrate updates first, and saving the image. Then I make a copy of the image and do the lite.
After the Windows is installed I set the optional features.

Without the updates list and the removals, it's hard to answer. You need to provide those full details.
Error 0x80073701 points to removed WinSxS files.

But DISM command report operation completed successfully. And the feature is indeed enabled. The error is only reported in the optional feature of the control panel.

please post your full preset since most of the time we have to test ourselves
You mean I need to provide the update list of my integration? The update integration was done by me in advance. I use NTLite just to lite the win8 after integrating. I installed the lite win8 into the virtual machine, and then used "Enable or Disable Windows Feature" in control panel, not using NTLite. So the preset I provided above is all I have for using NTLite.

by uploading your full preset, we can have a look to see what's happened and help you. Without it , it will make it hard to help.

The problem is he won't have a full preset for us since his full operation includes manual dism commands.

DISM and OptionalFeature both perform the same job, but OptionalFeature has different dependencies.

This preset is for 9200.16384 (which is RTM build), and not based on a previously updated image. Unless the OP wants to share their updates list and exact steps to duplicate the error, there's no point trying to guess.
