I read that Windows 7 SP1 is required for integrating. Cannot I update SP1 with NTLite?

Hi, the minimum required for using ntlite is windows 7 sp1 image.
The older programs like r2seven are not available and if i want to integrate to spi, how do i use ntlite.Normally, window updates include service stack updates. Can i update the service pack to my windows so as to enable further process using ntlite

Vladimri, hi,
thanks for your answer. Then why, it is shown as requirement to integrate the updates thro ntlite.
Elsewhere in the thrread, i read that Nuhi has pointed out that service stack updates are also window updates and thee will not be any problem in using ntlite to slipstream service pack.
But why then, it is shown as minimum requirements.
This appears to be a small issue with NTLite as it asks for Service Pack 1 to be in the update list even though it’s already present on the install DVD (assuming you have an SP1 DVD/ISO).

Hi, the minimum required for using ntlite is windows 7 sp1 image.
Download the Windows 7 SP1 ISO from the page suggested here.

You have to search for: Windows 7 Professional N SP1 (x64) - (English)

Other search criteria:
Windows SP1 x64 English
Windows SP1 x86 English
Windows SP1 Arabic

...and browse the pages (when using "other search criteria" options) because Windows 7 SP1 isn't listed in the dropdown lists.

raymond's post is a very old post.

My query is simple, would it support windows seven without service pack, as service pack is yet another update
SP1 is just like another update, you can add all at once, then follow the guide, it should be straightforward as:
- load your image edition in the Source page
- add updates files in the Updates page
- go to the Apply page, review pending changes
- in the Apply page toolbar choose Create ISO and where to save it
- Click Process to start

If you really have some error during processing or changes seem like not saved, please attach %temp%\ntlite.log at the moment of the issue.

Thanks.
The above are the solution given by the developer

If you meant 'integrate the SP1 to Windows 7', yes, you can.

- The minimum to run NTLite is Windows 7, read almost to the end of this page (after "For clarity on specific frequent questions").
- the older program (r2seven), I think is a tool made with nuhi's (vLite) stolen code.

Ok some is already answered in different ways. It might still help others.

The point could be, to use the option in NTLite to download KBs for integration needs SP1 because NTLite is not downloading SP1 or any KB that is part of SP1.
And these requirements are two different things.
A question, is NTLite-Software telling you SP1 is a requirement or only this website that is suggesting it for better performance?

Get SP1 outside of NTLite and only integrate this to the image, I expect it to work.
Save a copy of that and use this as base for everything else.

Or do your tweaks with the non SP1 image and let do all the updates WSUSOffline after install of a Win7. I know that this will work.

Microsoft isn´t anymore offering a download for Win7 images. Everything you can find is unofficial stuff you would need to trust.

SP1 is just like another update, you can add all at once, then follow the guide, it should be straightforward as:
No. Many KBs after SP1 requiere it and will have errors when an SP1 and such a KB update is performed simultaniously.
To integrate KBs released after SP1 yes a finished integration of SP1 is needed.
The above are the solution given by the developer
Had not to check. If NTLite is recognizing SP1 correct and process it first, yes why should it not work?

Go to post #4, follow the tips and you'll get a Ms download link, isn't public but is official.

TechBench is only 8 and 10 nowadays using the main selector, what also can be found searching around on microsofts webpage.
With the search a list appeared but all get 403 - forbidden error.
And the-eye.eu you have to trust, except you know the original hashes. EN-version would not be in my language and how well the mu-package is creating a localised version, I don´t know.

Yes, better than nothing after all.

EDIT
Never tried what happens when tiping in a key on this microsoft site (seen before and forgot). Might not work with all keys. (Can be found following post #4 ;))
