Hello, i'm having another problem in my NTlite windows construction, now I get the problem with the file "Gfxv4_0.exe". "unexpected exception Gfxv4_0.exe" when I install the Intel HD Graphics driver.
I know that this component is from the System section in components.
anybody had the same problem with laptops?
thanks in advance

Are you adding the file to the Drivers section, post insstall page or are you running it after 1st logon with your ntlited image installation?

I get this error after running windows update, it installs all drivers, also the intel graphics driver, it installs well but when I open the graphics program I get this error

There are a few possibilities.

Its an incorrect driver(if downloaded with WU). Always get your drivers either from intel or the laptop manufacturer.
Its a component you removed, 1 if not more are needed for intel installers, load a clean untouched iso into ntlite and check Component Notes and Extra Info, then check your image and see if if you removed them or not.
Its (another) bad windows update thats causing it.

yes, the driver installs automatically when I run windows update, all the installation is ok, but it fails when i start the program.
if I leave untouched all the "system" section in components i dont have the problem, so is something from this area.
I think I have to start trying and trying

ok so after 6 trial and error reinstallations and deep investigation I found the guilty component por the problem with Intel Graphics Driver, and this component is: "Windows Presentation Foundation (core).
now the Intel HD driver works perfectly.
so now that I solved problems with Avast Antivirus and graphics drivers I have to continue with my investigation for the issues with Spotify, that installs ok but doesn't work (it's also something from System section)

And also my last question to finally have the perfect lited windows is if you know what I have to keep for using Photos App (i have the classic pictures app, but would like to have both) because I dont find this in the list of components to keep

thanks for your help

I never used Spotify and all i know its a m usic streaming service. Im looking at your preset on your AV topic.
The bogey is either a media or network component. Removed .Nets as possibility.
