After I remove internet explorer and internet explorer (32-bit), there will be an Internet Options (32-bit) item left in the control panel, isn't ntlite cleaned up? Is there a way to solve it?

Internet options is more for about connections to certain things on the internet (eg javascript/acivex/etc content, internet security levels, privacy etc ), i do not believe it is exclusive to internet explorer or edge, but used whatever browser you use.

But it remains in the control panel, there is no icon, it cannot be opened (no response), and it will not work unless it is installed back to the ie component

I remember removing Internet Explorer entirely and not having any control panel shortcuts.

Maybe it's a cumulative update that returned removed components.

You can use Tools -> Remove Reinstalls in NTLite and see if that gets removed.

If not then this could be a bug and only nuhi can help with that.

Are you using win11? I am using win10 22H2. After removing ie, the 32-bit components still remain in the program files x86, and the relevant components and registry entries of inetcpl and cpl remain in syswow64, and then remain in the control panel Internet Options 32-bit.

Thanks for the info, will look at that and report here these days, currently in the run to finish some bigger update first.

No, I'm using Windows 10 21H1 and I used an older version of NTLite around the time I removed IE so it might be an issue with newer versions. In my new builds I no longer remove IE as I noticed that some programs and games depend on it. But if I have time I try to test it here.
