Latest DirectX 12 for Windows 7?

has anyone found a way of sneaking in the latest directX 12 for windows 7 ? I've heard some rumors about such things being possible and lots of reports of Blizzard having done this for wow and wow only but haven't found much else.

Blizzard being a huge MS partner asked for DX12 to be backported to W7.
They released the run-time DLL's, but it's useless unless your game has been rewritten for it. Basically, no games except for WoW...
