Hi everyone,

Has anyone encountered issues when trying to add Lenovo Wi-Fi drivers to the Windows 11 24H2 ISO using NTLite? I’ve extracted the .inf drivers and pointed NTLite to the correct folder, and the ISO builds without any problems. However, when I boot from the ISO created by NTLite, I still receive a prompt to install drivers for the Wi-Fi during the "Let’s connect you to a network" step.

Additionally, I tried using a bare Windows 11 image and manually installing the .INF files through Device Manager, confirming they are indeed the correct drivers.

Any insights or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

What model Lenovo do you have? When you extracted the drivers, that includes all of the driver files and not just the .INF files?

Lenvovo T14, 21HE. I extracted the .exe downloaded from the Lenovo site for the wifi drivers and allows you to extract the content. All the files including the .inf are in the folder. Very strange it is not working.

If you reload the updated image, can you find the same driver from the Components screen? Also, this is for the Wi-Fi device and not Wireless WAN (LTE modem)?

Correct it is the Wi-Fi device, these models do not have the LTE modem hardware. If I load the image that NTlite created, and I go to device manager and Network Adapters the Wifi is missing. If I right-click on Network Adapters and click Action and Load Drivers, I point to the same Wifi drivers I use in NTlite, Netwtw08.inf and Netwtw06.inf the Intel Wi-Fi-6E AX211 160MHz now appears in Network Adapters.

Is this a multi-edition ISO, or a single edition? When using a multi-edition ISO, you need to remember to check the box to apply Driver updates to all other images.

W11 24H2 already has a default copy of Netwtw08.sys and Netwtw06.sys, but they're older (Lenovo's current driver is Jan 2025). In theory, your imported driver should replace Windows' version of the same driver.

I am working with a multi-edition ISO. I have checked the box to "Reapply task across editions" for the driver integration and am now using the latest Lenovo Wi-Fi drivers, thanks to your suggestions.

As I rebuild the ISO, is there anything else you recommend I change while I wait for the build to complete?

I would do "Remove nonessential editions", and delete the N (or KN) editions to speed up ISO processing.

There's no benefit in keeping the extra editions if you have no intention of using them. By default, MS provides a single multi-edition ISO so they don't have to distribute so many individual ISO versions at the same time.
