MS Store not opening, NTLite v2024.8.10045 Host refresh

I realize this maybe only w10 o/s but I am surprised that no one else experience this issue. I installed a 1TB nvme drive as my o/s drive, waste of space but I also kept my 1 TB WD drive which has been partition to my specific needs. I no longer need to resize the recovery partition on the o/s drive.

The only observation is which I have been able to check is the following. When I do a fresh install ms-store comes back and says it needs to be updated, which it does. However, on host refresh there is no response.

Microsoft.WindowsStore_22407.1401.5.0 was released on 2024-08-03. This might be causing a mismatch against the ISO's older version.

If you don't disable WU updates for UWP apps, then Store would have installed a newer version. And your ISO always has an outdated version of the same apps. So after the refresh, it has to re-download itself.

According to rg-adguard, the previous version of Store app was released in 2021. Which is probably why there wasn't a problem until now.

Windows Update service download; I recently made a change to this setting; Check for updates but let me choose whether to download and install. Could this cause this issue. I'll set it to default.

This got me thinking. Thank-you to pointing me in the right direction. Since there was an update to MS-Store, which would be a new updated feature. I had set the GPO not to except any new features after 22H2. Select the Target Update Feature Version which I set to 22H2. I set it back to not configured.

UWP (Store App) updates are separate from normal WU updates.
Settings / Windows Update / Window Store - Install updates automatically -> Manual
