NTLite release v2.3.4.8620 (Feb 2022) and later versions have improved license management features, which reduce the need to use license activations for existing systems. To take advantage of those new features, please upgrade your NTLite to the latest release.

Quotes taken from nuhi are in italics.

For version 2.3.4.8620 or later: (New instructions)
  1. License.dat no longer needs to be backed up, unless it's an offline activation.
  2. Server won't spend more activations on the same machine that was activated once (unless there are HW changes).
  3. You can activate on your machines, 5 different ones, and activations are now even remembered on the server, so you don't have to even backup the license file, unless you will be offline when reinstalling.
For versions below 2.3.4.8620: (Classic instructions)
  1. Export your License.dat from the Manage license page.
  2. Save the exported file in a safe place.
  3. After re-installing NTLite, replace the installed License.dat with your saved copy.
  4. Start NTLite, it will request the e-mailed license key to verify your license.
If your NTLite license is expired, you can still install the current NTLite software but you're limited to the same premium features available before the expiration date. Later features will not be available, but you will benefit from bug fixes for older features or Windows releases.

If you're concerned about rolling back NTLite, keep a copy of the last installer on your own system as NTLite.com doesn't archive them.

If you encounter licensing problems, please contact [email protected]
Do not DM nuhi for licensing issues. The e-mail system allows requests to be properly tracked.
