NTLite suddenly unusable

I've uninstalled NTlite, deleted the original setup file, re-downloaded NTLite from the developers website.
Fresh reinstall from windows created through the media creation tool. STILL getting an error 18. I have done almost every way around this I can figure out, but NTLite has become useless to me!
 
Error 18 means your host WIM engine is somehow damaged, not related to NTLite directly.
Here are some good tips:

If nothing there helps, fix/reinstall the host (consider Host Refresh if it's Win10), or install NTLite in a VM, edit the ISO and use it on real machine.

Let me know how it goes, if there is anything that can be done from my side.
