Third-party applications, like Intel Rapid Storage Technology (RST) drivers, can add performance counters. If NTLite removes Performance Counters components, along with Performance Monitor, then does it mean no other programs can add performance counters? Not even Intel RST drivers?
Right now NTLite is set so you can leave performance counters, but remove the Performance Monitor (PerfMon.exe). I think it makes more to have Performance Monitor as the main components and Performance Counters as sub-component.
