Protecting System Restore and Optional Features

This could be added as a compatibility tab because keeping system restore in components fails numerous times even though shadow is kept; especially if removing windows backup and performing deep removal.

As such you want to protect the following files:
OptionalFeatures.exe
rstrui.exe
srcore.dll
spp.dll
SystemPropertiesProtection.exe
shlwapi.dll

Now you won't need to worry about NTlite screwing up these simple features.
 
For which version of Windows are you reporting? Those files can be copied to Compatibility tab's Protected file patterns, if you're not already using that feature.
 
Removed Restore and backup on latest W11 and all mentioned files is still present - and what is deep removal?
