Questions about removing Components

Hi,

I am currently removing components for my Laptop and PC and have a few questions about individual components and what they do

Multimedia
Shared Media control

What this does ?

Windows Tiff IFilter OCR this Component is currently disabled in my Windows Components if i open Systemsettings -> Software -> Windows Components. So i think i can remove this safely.

Spatial Sound 3D Audio, i have never used this. On my PC i have Soundblaster AE9 installed with SoundBlaster Command (has its own Dolby Settings for Headphones and Speakers)
On my Laptop i dont use 3D Audio.

Network
Simple TCP/IP Services what is this ? I only use sometimes the commands "Ping, Tracert and Ipconfig"

Remotedifferentialcompression RDC is alway disabled in my Systemsettings -> Software -> Components and i dont need this so i think i can remove this safely.

Telnet Client, TFTP Client same as above this is always disabled in my Systemsettings -> Software -> Components.

Remoting and Privacy
Device Experience what is this ?

System
Desktop ActivityModerator (DAM) ?

embedded mode what is this ?

Most of the time I would be able to answer these questions but I just got up not too long ago and super tired.

Spatial audio also does Dolby Atmos and various other things in audio. I use it together with my Denon reciever even though the reciever has Atmos I find it needs it for various games and movies(it does a good job when it doesn't have it naturally)

Never used headphones very much so I couldn't tell you much about that one

Multimedia
Shared Media control panel
Sharing media files over WMP streaming to compatible devices.

TIFF is gray-scale image format for dinosaurs fax machines. OCR is text recognition for it.

There's controversy on this one. While you don't need it, some games expect Spatial Sound to be installed. Leaving it doesn't hurt.

Simple TCP/IP are UNIX network services ported to Windows NT, so MS could pretend NT was just as good as UNIX.
Nobody uses it. But it's always included to keep the charade going.

RDC is Windows' version of BitTorrent for file syncing. On the consumer level, you won't notice it missing. But enterprises use it to push out large updates across multiple PC's in parallel.

Telnet Client, TFTP Client same as above this is always disabled in my Systemsettings -> Software -> Components.
Same boat as Simple TCP/IP.

I keep forgetting this one.

System
Desktop ActivityModerator (DAM) ?
DAM allows advanced features for sleep mode. Newer laptops should leave it in.

embedded mode what is this ?
Mostly used by IoT, or standalone "appliances" like a smart router, NAS, cash register, ATM, whatever to run nothing but one app.

Windows components database (remove in the last session, no removal will be possible after removing this)?

I don't get it, can anyone tell me more about this? these sessions are about what? What would change if I removed it?

It's okay remove Manifest Backup.
You won't able to update your install if removing WinSxS (Windows Component Store) unless you use a Host Refresh witch some prefer to circumvent Windows Update.
If you're a normal private user keep WinSxS.
