I'm going crazy to restore the network icon on the tray (Windows 11 708 from native UUD) which, due to some modification that I don't realize, is no longer displayed.

Looking at my preset can anyone tell me which item to delete/exclude ???

The network icon is dependent upon "Radio Management Service", simple to confirm on a full OS simply by disabling it and rebooting, same effect.
Will move this component to Recommended to keep (red ones), thanks for pointing this out - it's a basic functionality that should be noted and walled-off.
Currently it's noted in the description only if using Win10 1703, seemed not to matter in later versions, now back on Win11.

I confirm that it was precisely that service (which I had inadvertently clicked and which I did not "see".

Thanks Garlin and All.

PS garlin: suggest to nuhi to modify the description of that service, for example adding: "disabling this Service on Win 11 will result in the Network icon not being displayed on the Tray".

PS that "preset" with the above correction installs W11 without any Apps and without Edge (for this it is necessary to modify the .ini of UUP Dump.

The ISO is optimized for "home" business PCs (SmartWorking); if you want to try it and have any comments I will be grateful.

Thanks again

I think you know how to fix this ;)
<S1707>Radio Management and Airplane Mode Service</S1707>

This is just rewriting the Template and all translations.

<S1707> Radio Management and Airplane Mode Service. Warning: disabling the Service will result in the Netrwork icon not being displayed in the System Tray </S1707>

What do you think about it?

I wanted to underline that this setting (disabling the Radio Management Service) causes problems - no display of the Nertwork icon on the system Tray) exclusively on Windows 11 21H2+

Consequently I would change the string to
<S1707> Warning: disabling the Service will result in Windows 11 not displaying the network icon in the System Tray</S1707>

They will have solved the problem with the following versions.

At the moment (better: starting from version Win 10 1903) I have always disabled "Radio Management Service" and the System Tray icon works perfectly in all its parts, even right click on it.

Modification not introduced in the new version 8775
Sorry for missing to reply to this.
The component is currently warning via its description for it on 1703 and 11 21H2+, "Needed for: Network tray icon left-click menu popup."
And it is red/recommended to keep.

Will shift the warning to all versions, thanks.

On Win10 21H2 and LTSC 1809 I removed this and had no problems.

I believe that this behavior is to be attributed (since I have always disabled it too) to the latest news released and above all in function of the new W11 22H2.
For this I was surprised ...
