I have no clue what setting I touched in NTLite but now I don't have SendTo > Desktop (Shortcut) Any longer.

Does anyone know how to fix I tried to copy the actual file from a VM and it did not work.

No clue how to re-enable this feature, but I would like to because I use it frequently.

If anyone has any 411 on this please respond.

This is not true. I'm not trying to modify an Icon. I'm trying to use the actual feature itself.

I just looked at your page "how to change the icon" and I don't not even have that hive listing CLSID.

Either way I do not want to change the icon :) Also you cant change the icon of something not there.

I want to be able to create a shortcut of something and send it to my desktop as I'm missing this core function.

ive got multiple SendTo folders(w7), i dont know if you need to place the shortcut in all of them or not.

"C:\" send to is just the search criteria(everything by voidtools) so ignore that, use the results beneath Name and Path.
you may or may not have the folders in the same places in win10 so look for them 1st.

Yeah I think its has to be a group policy or registry setting that NTLite changed maybe even a required feature I stripped :(

I just wish I knew what it was so I could restore this thing back in.

Ah you know what I did. NTLite does not offer a in-place upgrade option does it.

Does this mean I will have to reinstall if I want to have this feature ?

Hey thanks guys for the appreciated help and replies...

Also a BIG thank you, to you francis11

It took me two attempts
because the first try worked, but it uninstalled windows updates then when I tried to download them and install I got WU error 0x80240035

So I actually made a ISO this time instead of using the Folder. then extracted the finished ISO to a folder Host Refresh, and BOOM that worked!

Download windows updates no error, and HEY! I got my Shell:SendTo Desktop (shortcut) BACK!!! :) :) :)
