I tried running the latest version of NTLite in Windows 7. It acted like it was starting, and then ... nothing.
Then I remember seeing an asterisk at the bottom of the first "Documentation" page, saying that Win7 required KB4474419.
Good for me. (I'm not always this observant.)
But other users might not know of this requirement.
So shouldn't NTLite sniff for KB4474419 during installation and, if it's not present in the Win7 Host, pop up a Warning message, telling the user of this missing KB?
Or, alternatively, pop up a Warning when trying to run the .exe if the KB isn't present?
Programs like Handbrake, etc. will tell you, during installation, that they need a certain version of VisualBasic or .NETFramework, etc.
