Signing the latest NVIDIA drivers to work on W7

canonkong (best known in the Windows mod community for backporting the Intel USB3 driver to W7) has a signing fix for the latest NVIDIA drivers on W7. This will help those trying to get newer-generation NVIDIA cards (he's posted a screen capture with a RTX 2080).

You replace "nvlddmkm.sy_" in the NVIDIA folder.

Hi, I don't really understand, nvidia drivers work well for all cards except rtx 4000 series :O ?, A friend used Nvidia 3080 with windows 7 without problem before.
Or is it a bug with latest driver for windows 7 you mean ?

He's re-signing the one of the driver files so you don't have to run W7 in unsigned driver mode. Not everyone likes to disable signature checking, or knows how to test-sign a driver.

Im running unsigned drivers on w10 and w7(laptop). Install them on 7, get that "always trust" driver warning, tick Yes, the publisher is now Trusted. Open certmgr, find the publisher, copy the fingerprint, search registry and export, import onto w7 and 10 before driver installation, no "unsigned" messing around.
