[SOLVED] NVIDIA Control Panel - testing

Hey, I've been trying to install my stripped 1809 on my friend's PC.
But the NVIDIA Control Panel did not work.

I suppose these things were missing:
- all of ModernApp support
- System Apps
Microsoft.NET.Native.Framework.2.2
Microsoft.NET.Native.Runtime.2.2
Microsoft.UI.Xaml.2.4
Microsoft.VCLibs.140.00.UWPDesktop
Microsoft.VCLibs.140.00
AppResolverUX (optional)
cred garlin

I can't test it on my friend's PC (cause he lives far from me) nor on my PC (cause I have an AMD GPU).
Could somebody test my preset on 1809 Enterprise (with 2022 updates) and let me know if the newest NVIDIA driver and control panel work?
Thanks in advance.

This was harder than I expected.

NTLite was throwing DISM Error 87 'Parameter is incorrect' fits when I tried integrating standalone Appx packages as a group. This problem doesn't happen when sideloading the same files. Not sure if this is specific to LTSC being stripped compared to normal Windows.

I went with mistermoody's trick.

The end goal is for NTLite to import Appx packages natively but it needs more work & research done. But in principle, we should be able to get there. Except for AMD, most control panels look like they should work on the right graphics.

NVIDIA Control Panel for DCH drivers is the UWP version. Unless you're using the Win32, which is for legacy drivers and older graphics cards.

Hello guys I think I might have the same problem, so I have problem with NVIDIA drivers after modifying LTSC 1809, the orginal ltsc iso used to install nvidia control panel with it's old drivers a few minutes after installing windows, but the case in the modified version is different, it just doesn't install, I already checked compatibility for modern apps and nvidia but the iso still comes without control panel and drivers which really bothers due to screen tearing, is there a way to fix it somehow?

The Intel® Graphics Control Panel (Intel® GCP) application has been discontinued from the Microsoft* Store as of March 16, 2021.

The Intel Graphics Control Panel has now been replaced by the Intel® Graphics Command Center for systems with 6th Generation Intel® processors or newer. The Intel Graphics Command Center has the latest features and capabilities and will continue to be the user interface for future improvements. For instructions to install the Intel Graphics Command Center see, How to Install the Intel® Graphics Command Center. For more information about the Intel Graphics Command Center, see Intel® Graphics Command Center Frequently Asked Questions.

The Intel Graphics Control Panel will remain on systems that have the Intel Graphics Control Panel previously installed from the Microsoft Store. This solely impacts systems that do not have the application currently installed and those that wish to install the application.

My collection of test packages has some outdated apps.
It's mostly to debug my download script, in case someone needs a really old version from the Store.

But the NVIDIA Control Panel did not work.
What driver version? I'm using 497.09 and the only less obvious thing I had to keep was bind filter driver. I looked at your preset and didn't see anything wrong with it, but I'll see if I can find time to test it. I just need to remember how to install uwp apps with powershell so I can install this in a VM first, or use garlin's method and integrate the control panel into the iso.

I can't test it on my friend's PC (cause he lives far from me) nor on my PC (cause I have an AMD GPU).
You can test it in a VM, the app won't open but by the error message you know if it will work or not. See the first image of garlin's first post.

Won't NVIDIA Control Panel work without integrating UWP Nvidia Control Panel app?
Yes, I install using just the installer downloaded from the nvidia website. This contains the control panel app. I think garlin integrated this into the iso to make testing easier.

the orginal ltsc iso used to install nvidia control panel with it's old drivers a few minutes after installing windows
You mean Windows installed the drivers using Windows Update? In this case it may be necessary to have the Store or its backend for Windows to be able to download the control panel separately from the drivers. Try installing with the installer downloaded from the nvidia website.
