Sticky Notes is not working after component removals

Hi. After removing components from a Windows 10 Insider Preview build 18267 ISO, for some reason the Sticky Notes is not working. By the way, Microsoft added in this build new features and improvements to the UI of the Sticky Notes, but I don't think that could really matter...

When I launch the Sticky Notes, it automatically closes after 1 or 2 seconds. I can see how the Sticky Notes creates a taskbar icon, and then it closes before I can see anything more, it closes before the window fully loads.

The Windows Error Report (WER) logs an error about the .exe of sticky notes, but there is no useful debug information about. It does not give any hint about the reason of the error.

Someone could help me to discover which component removal is the one that has broken the functionality of my Sticky Notes, please?.

Please see the attached file, that contains the NTLite preset that I used in order to remove components.

Try to keep containers and/or Input app and On-Screen Keyboard (Tablet PC).
Here is a thread for Sticky notes reports in all windows versions.

In Windows 10.17763.1 x64 (October Update), I removed containers, inputapp and On-Screen Keyboard (and its component sub-trees), Sticky Notes works fine.

Doing same procedure in Windows 10 Insider Preview build 18277, it breaks Sticky Notes.

Regardless of the fact that I'm manipulating a Insider Preview build, in the previous build (18272) Microsoft did important changes/improvements to Sticky Notes...

and soon or later these changes will be reflected in a stable release. I mean, I think those changes that Microsoft did could be related, and it would be great if @nihu adds support for this because soon or later probably this issue would be in a to-do list of NTLite fixes for a future stable releases...

Kasual I will try preserving the mentioned components to determine whether that is the reason for my broken Sticky Notes. Thank you.

EDIT: Hmmm... this is so strange, now in Windows 10 Insider Preview build 18277 I have deleted containers, inputapp and On-Screen Keyboard (and its component sub-trees), but Sticky Notes works fine. :-/ so those componenets are discarded, it is another component who is causing the problem. But more strange thing is that the Sticky Notes in this build is not the same as in build 18272, I see the same shitty Sticky Notes as always, without any useful text-formatting option.

Well, confirmed. I don't understand this, I'm not sure what I'm missing in the change-log article but I've installed Windows 10 Insider Preview build 18272 and it does not come with that pretty and improved Sticky Notes, neither in build 18277 as I said before.

I insist again that I have removed containers, inputapp and On-Screen Keyboard (and its component sub-trees), and Sticky Notes works fine in all these builds.

Now I'm unsure and confused about why it didn't worked with the NTLite profile that I attached in the first post, but since now Sticky Notes it is working then... I think its better to say this problem is solved, and close the thread to avoid more confusion.

Thanks for read.

Did you remove any inbox app after installing?

No, nothing. When I noticed the Sticky Notes not opening, I literally built a new ISO with same NTLite profile, then I installed the resulting Windows ISO in a new V.M just to log in the O.S and run Sticky Notes, and finally log off and delete the V.M.

But for some reason now it is working as I mentioned above, so... nevermind.

The new Windows Preview version is not supported yet, will save this for when that time comes.
Usually first the previous version needs to be very stable to start tackling on another moving target, which is about now that they re-released the 1809.
At least now you see that the new Windows version support is not something taken for granted, they keep on changing the playing field.
