Trim Boot.Wim Not Working

Do you have specific scenario for exp, its not working on w10bootfiles or w11 etc. or happens in all versions?

Friend gerald For me Trim worked flawlessly in all my work scenarios with NTLite .

Save the image and trim editions doesn't apply to boot.wim (it's not an "edition").

You can remove boot.wim (WinPE) in two ways:
- Source page, right-menu "Delete"
- Apply page, check box in Remove non-essential editions

I have tried both trim editions and trim boot.wim. When checked the source folder in the iso file, the boot.wim is still there.
Really, no big thing I can just delete the boot.wim from the ISO, it just that the trim edition works to trim editions, except it does not delete for the boot.wim.

Maybe I'm reading this wrong, are you trying to remove boot.wim entirely?

NTLite protects WinPE (Setup) so you can make future customizations (add new drivers, patch Dynamic Update features). It's missing from Remove nonessential editions and Source deletion on purpose. Therefore NTLite will never remove boot.wim entirely.

Assuming you'll never need to modify the ISO's boot setup (using NTLite), then boot.wim isn't required for the actual install.
It's about 465 MB of space.
