.url protocole and settings

In "Choose default apps by file type" (Settings), I choose Web Browser for the .url protocol

What is the registry key to modify in the registry ?

i was able to regshot this. maybe works but i don't think so

You should only have web browser in the list...

That is how it should be. you won't see any chrome or firefox icon at there. only default one. thats normal

Yes except after installing Windows (NTLite used)
I have no apps to indicate, I am forced to manually indicate Web Brower
That's why I asked for the registry key, to be able to do it "automatically"

yes that what i told u. it is default one. to keep it as default dont disable or remove internet explorer and its components or html viewer
