Use NTLite on a modified ISO

Hello,

A long time ago, I created a modified ISO with NTLite (components & services removal), pure W7 x64 SP1, no updates integrated.
It has been working flawlessly, but I'd like to update it now.

May I use that modified ISO and just integrate the latest updates with NTLite, or should I start again from scratch?
I've lost the configuration file, so I'll have to go through test and trial if I have to re-build the entire thing :confused:

Yes, when integrating, best is from scratch.
Later when installing, you can do it on top of the existing install, but make sure to re-run Source - [toolbar] Tools - Remove Reinstalls after each CU.

Btw to get the previous preset you can use these convoluted steps:
- load previously configured, lite, image
- start with fresh preset (Source - toolbar - Presets - New)
- uncheck all compatibilities, and then components
- save that as a Preset, e.g. Lite Unchecked All

- Load the new, full, image
- also make sure it's an empty preset
- uncheck all compatibilities, and then components
- save that as another Preset, e.g. Full Unchecked All

Right-click any of those presets, choose Explore directory.
Now take some text comparison tool, like Winmerge, and compare the two files.
Exclude same lines, and those that are left in the Full one, are those that you removed previously.

Should automate this :)
