Win10 RS5 - printing from Edge not working

Dear Nuhi,
I just created a Win10 RS5 ISO as by preset and log attached.
I have two major issues:
- modern print applet (when printing from Edge, for example) is not showing --> impossible to print from modern apps
- My phone app doesn't work: after requesting MS account credentials, it shows up "something went wrong" error.

Can you please check them?

Thank you and wish you a great and happy Xmas.

Did you remove the printing option in components, windows apps, if you did then that might be the problem. It looks to me that you removed 3d printing and internet printing client, maybe that is causing it, MAYBE.

Thank you for checking. I use the same preset for rs4 and printing is working so I suspect something is wrong with current rs5, let's wait Nuhi to confirm this and, in case, to fix it.

Ask Kasual.......never use the same preset for different versions. Build a new preset based on the RS5. Microsoft also tend to swap things around

Actually I compared old and new, checked differences and cannot see anything strange. I really guess something is missing for this modern app.

OK.....completly misunderstood that one.....throwing this Nuhi's direction
Don't worry about that.
I started a thread for Win 10 called "Is safe to remove?" due to some unclear components descriptions to me and there is one related to the printing that match the behavior in the same post. I stopped adding info to that thread as i'm not a Win 10 user and stopped using it.

Kas, what ya gonna do when when your hardware only supports 10 or are you gonna chew that food when you have to?

The Win 10 that fits better to my computer is build 1703 (i could say that i fell in love with the "split screen keyboard" skin that doesn't cover all the screen wide, 1709 covers all the mid screen wide).

If hardware isn't dead and want to use it when software ask for an updated version that asks for a later OS, stick to *nix, every day is coming more software with its own telemetry, Ms forces updates to update its own telemetry engine.

Nowadays most of the hardware power is eaten by telemetry software and media adware (most adware is blocked by hosts, youtube encripted ads aren't but is mostly ad-cleaned).

I'll support my family with windows factory reset whenever is needed and that's it.
I started using Knoppix 3.4-3.7(live CD) and could install the very early ntfs-3g to have read access to the ntfs partitions but changed to a Kubuntu 5.04 and set drivers and a printer (hp) + OpenOffice.org, years ago setup a *nix computer was hard but now is much more easy everything, less type & more clicks.

I dont want 8 cores doing sfa when 4 will do, or spend 80quid on ram when 40(4gb) will do, i can spend 60 on a blu ray drive instead. Needing skynet just to run the damn os

Clanger.......lol. Blu ray is dead......with all the other dvd and cd type drives along with it, in due time (shortly) every mechanical type drive will die.... Tech is moving to crystal stacking. Found 2 weaks ago a new IC (Intergrated Circuit) that only use light vibration to transfer electrical pulse into the exact amount and measured in .0000000008 sec per mili amp. Much better than ANY electronic circuit could have ever done, even better than gold. Our tech is running away.....lol in due time we wount be using PC's like we do today. In 2001 I worked for Sagem, no called Safran........and believe me....the tech we see on Tv and in the movies, some of them was available then, and not yet availble now. LG is the first company that has seen the future in some of their idea's. Awesome, can't wait to live a thousand to see all the changes. Lol

Too expensive for me the writer and media, also needs a place to save all the media, not like USB keys, cheaper everyday (SSD is cheaper too).

Ive never wiped a dvd data diskyet whereas i have wiped my storage drive a couple of times and lost lots of work.
