Hi, Me again
What would be the best way to install Net 4.8 on Win 8.1 Pro x64

so far i have installed Net 3.5 with dism limit access [for some of my older programs]

Message saying need update corresponding to KB2919355 for Net 4.8 which is needed for NordVPN. Got message not applicable when trying to apply this update. Tried these in following order. Can NTLite save a headache & update to .Net4.8? even if it could where would clearcompressionflag.exe They have to be installed in that order, unless i have misunderstood


1. clearcompressionflag.exe
2. Windows8.1-KB2919355-x64.msu <------------------------- Says not applicable?
3. Windows8.1-KB2932046-x64.msu
4. Windows8.1-KB2959977-x64.msu
5. Windows8.1-KB2937592-x64.msu
6. Windows8.1-KB2938439-x64.msu
7. Windows8.1-KB2934018-x64.msu

Again complained about needing a newer service stack w*f :-{

Easier way or is the plot lost?

I use abbodi's multilang script from mydigitallife to make my iso multilanguage. during that process script also adds and enables netfx3.5 for all editions
