This not correct. Read paragraph two of your link:

Windows requests a trusted root certificate lists (CTL) renewal once a week. If Windows doesn’t have a direct access to the Windows Update directory, the system won’t be able to update the root certificates, so a user may have some troubles when browsing websites (which SSL certificates are signed by an untrusted CA – see the article about the “Chrome SSL error: This site can’t provide a secure connection”), or with installing/running signed scripts and apps.

Don't turn off WU, unless you redirect to a private CTL server or create a scheduled task to pull data yourself. For 99% of default users, cert revocation works as intended albeit at a normal pace.

did i mention the reason im doing all this is to play rust on windows 7 which is possible with 7600 and other sp1 versions but the .sst files, .cer's, passworded .pfx's and others i tried exporting them from other working updating sha256 windowses, downloading them certutil.exe so sigcheck.exe does not apply to me i havnt tried it, just the directions mentioned there mostly with windows driver kit which was fun to use, on most windowses i find, such as particularly 7 N versions as there is way less autonomous cacheing dcom GUID's subtracting my cpu performance (they are all part of internet explorer wininetcache wininetbroker), the certs need signed and DSEO.exe driver signing enforcement overrider is quicker. one of the daz loader .iso's i use lets me install my usb hub without any problem whatsoever so im looking into that, do yout hink dazloader.exe (i cant even find it on the iso i speak of, it might be inside the install or boot .wim's. do you think KMSTOOLS.exe is a virus? i have encountered this once and it failed to work on my edited 7700's or 7850's ive burned, but that doesnt matter as i specialize in deleting notifications and most come from SLUI.exe and its registry can be crippled never able to run again in process form above or below the kernel layer. here is what im working with today, once i burn a dvd for the days experiments.
If you jumped onto Microsoft Windows 7 pre-release version (Beta or RC) you can't upgrade to the final RTM version and need to do an clean install loosing all your settings and installed application as Windows 7 setup won't let you upgrade from a pre-release version to final build displaying error as below.

Luckily there is a simple config-file hack which allows you to do an in-place upgrade from Windows 7 pre-release to final version keeping your files, settings and applications intact.

Why don't you just mod W8.1? The whole time you're trying to convert W7 SP1 into 8.1, with random patches and DLL hacks?

i use dx9 in dota and dx11 in rust they get the best framerates on windows 7 as many public articles have shown through testing. i am trying to patch windows 6.1.7700 which is not far off from 7600 that accepts sp1 easily, and i dont think my goal is far fetched. i ran those win8 patches to show that it is not compatible to betas as they had clearly planned to focus on making the kernel accept arm processors as shown in betawiki()net/wiki/Windows_8_build_7652 which is why its so fast and i have raised my win rate in dota playing on it. a lot of the patches for sha256 need sp1 therefoer i think it is the key for an early successful step towards my goal which i wont stray from . i have used win10 plenty and cleaned it up moer than anyone in history even has even the RevyOs people as i know a friend who tests it and he cant get lower than 5us microsecond dpc latency and ive got windows 10 to 3-4 usually before the net is plugged in and then about 50-60 dcom services under the kernel layer are going off constantly reading the registry one trick is to use a clean ntuser.dat from the system profile and play games from that as half the 'viruses' accompanying modern gpu software and basically steam and everything you can think of offends me in some way, using that 256kb ntuser.dat does zounds for performance that only the top tier gamers like me who have .150 reaction timing lowest human possible can detect the subtleties i speak of and quest for for all my brothers STUCK on windows 10, the child usb webcam watcher israeli owned garbage app is their answer to decades of product key thievery by selling us out to every data company that had 1,000,000+ like Mellanox from israel who has at least 5-6 entries within window registry check their wiki they are the new china backdoorers of cpu world

can you help? i am investigating c:\windows\system32\catroot , its relationship to c:\windows\servicing\packages , pending.xml from winsxs folder, hklmSoftMicWinCVComponentBasedServicing , their relationship to cWinSysSmiStoreMachine Schema.Dat which i am aware of as well. i believe procmon is needed and there needs to be added missing regs and edits when the time comes for an update to analyze this version of windows, just like the guy did to trick SP1 to install on pre-release (nothnig i know about, but will test). basically looking at dism /image:e:\7 /get-packages on a good, sp1 and sha256 updated so shows package_for_kb4054498~31bf~amd64~~6.1.1.2 cat files, etc, and i believe i need to compare those 'base' components to my versions, and perhaps dump/overwrite the winsxs store is an option i havnt tried yet, just taking the files from above got me a blue screen. the kernel is all the same but the reg i think is what makes this windows different, things are left out, to make it faster as my above cited evidence states. so i would be leaving all of my image the same, and overwriting and moving the extra files, which may not be persent tho i am novice at reading dism logs i have posted them as well.

dont think that has something to do with the OS, more like the system specs.

WIndows 7 and rust = MINIMUM , so i doubt it would look good
