Yep, that seems to have done the trick! Your posted screen shot helped me a lot. Thanks again, garlin!

[SOLVED] How to get NTLite to ignore my own OS when creating image for another computer?

Well, something good seems to have changed. When I explicitly loaded the desired target WIM (which I hadn't done before), it ascended to the top and the Deployed images moved to the bottom. I'm about to try the updates again...

[SOLVED] How to get NTLite to ignore my own OS when creating image for another computer?

Thanks very much for your speedy reply, garlin! My current OS is marked as installed, but not "loaded". By the way, I can't figure out how to decrease the width of the Presets panel. Can it be done?

[SOLVED] How to get NTLite to ignore my own OS when creating image for another computer?

This is by far the most frustrating design "feature" in NTLite and it's still never been corrected. I want to create a bootable ISO to install Win 10 Home for a different computer with no OS yet. I'm trying this for at the least the tenth time, and very time I run NTlite (latest) on my Win 10...

How to force-save your working preset at any time?

I am extremely annoyed with NTLite (latest release, 64_v1.9.0.7501) because after spending hours configuring my Win 10 Pro 2004 session, something I do causes NTLite to crash. But I'm not complaining about the crash, I'm complaining about the fact that every single one of my changes are utterly...

How can I stop NTLite from messing with my current OS?

I'm running NTLite under Windows 7 Pro and trying to integrate windows updates into Windows 10 Pro 1903. But every time I try Tools -> Install Updates, it absolutely insists on updating the running Windows 7 instead of the Windows 10 image I've loaded! I've tried selecting the live system and...

Win 7 Load Error "[18] There are no more files"

Well, the hash from the site you linked doesn't match, but that site's hash is for "x15-65805" rather than for the SP1-U Media Refresh ISO ("X17-59186"), which is the version MS recommended for download.

Win 7 Load Error "[18] There are no more files"

Yep, and everything looks/looked fine. But just in case, I set everything up on a drive with 2 TB free, and got the same error. By the way, someone reported this issue with Win 10, but I don't know if that's relevant in this case. See here

Can I Live-Update My Current Windows 7 System?

Sorry, I didn't use NTLite for any of my Windows 7 installs. This will be the first time. FWIW, Sleep was present a year or two ago, but then I upgraded to Windows 10. But after updating to the most recent Win 10 Pro release, this system went all to hell. I spent a few months trying to get it...

Win 7 Load Error "[18] There are no more files"

So I extracted all files from the unmodified Microsoft Windows 7 64-bit SP1-U Media Refresh edition ISO, selected the Professional edition, and then pressed Load. But I always get the following error message: Aborted - Image mount <folder>\Sources\install.wim [18] There are no more files...

Can I Live-Update My Current Windows 7 System?

Hi, Kasual! I'm pleased and honored that you've replied, considering your worthy reputation here. Yes, I'm referring to the lack of a Sleep option in the Shutdown menu. But I've tried every proposed solution that I've found online (at least a dozen, although several are essentially...

Can I Live-Update My Current Windows 7 System?

I own a Home license, and I had planned to use NTLite to create a new, trimmed Windows 7 x64 Pro install ISO/Media with the latest updates in order to perform an in-place repair of my main Win 7 system. You see, I need to regain Sleep mode (I've tried perhaps a dozen tutorials/procedures that...
