Duplicate Update Integration Issue in NTLite Versions

Hello, I consistently encounter an issue across various versions of NTLite when I create a Windows ISO. Indeed, integrated updates appear duplicated, even tripled: This problem doesn't occur with all versions. Simply substituting NTLite.exe with a thoroughly tested "reliable" version...

Same update (KB5022834) appears 4 times in Installed Updates

Well, it seems my issue with NTLite v2023+ has gone. - deleted settings.xml just to be sure - used Clean update backup = "Custom" instead of "None" I need more testing, but it seems promising. Although I'm curious to know why this issue appeared in the latest versions of the software...

Same update (KB5022834) appears 4 times in Installed Updates

Thanks for your input. As suggested, I switched from "None" to "DISM Compatible" but this generated an error. "None" used to work perfectly on previous versions (2.3.9.9020 and older) and I didn't have any troubles with duplicated Windows updates. NTLite v2023.x.x seems to be bugged on my side.

Same update (KB5022834) appears 4 times in Installed Updates

After doing the test once more, I can confirm that: - NTLite v2.3.9.9020 has no issue - NTLite v2023.3.9160 has an issue Logs included.

Same update (KB5022834) appears 4 times in Installed Updates

Never had that problem before. I always make my ISOs from scratch, after cleaning cache and extracting Windows ISO to a new folder. My cfg file is the same. Only changes: - latest Windows update - latest NTLite Edit: redid everything with KB5022906 instead, same issue. Edit 2: going back to...

Same update (KB5022834) appears 4 times in Installed Updates

Hello, I've noticed the same update appears 4 times in Programs and Features > View Installed Updates. SystemInfo also shows "4 Hotfix(s) Installed." Windows 10 LTSC 2021 / latest NTLite. Any idea why? Thank you!

    dbgeng.dll was not found error

Hello, I'm getting the following error with a few softwares: I think it is related to the removal of the following component: <c>dbgeng 'Windows Symbolic Debugger Engine'</c> What do you think? My preset is attached. Thank you in advance!

    Can’t Type WiFi Password

Hello, I update my ISO without changing my preset on a monthly basis. Here are the changes : - updated .NET 6 framework from v6.0.9 to v6.10 - updated Visual C++ Redistributable Runtimes (abbodi1406) from v0.61 to v0.63 - integrated latest Windows updates Windows updates used in old ISO...

    DirectX 9/10/11 & Windows 10

Thank you for your answer. In the meantime, I also found asheroto's Root Certificate Updater and ran it, but it didn't solve the issue, so I reinstalled the OS and it works at the moment, but that was expected. I ran an OCCT test for 12 hours without any issue. No 3rd party firewall either...

    DirectX 9/10/11 & Windows 10

OK, I'm back after a few days. I reinstalled my NLited W10 about 10 days ago, original DX installers were included this time. Everything worked fine until today. I'm getting the same errors. Yesterday it was fine, today errors pop up again. I haven't installed or changed anything in the...

    DirectX 9/10/11 & Windows 10

Well, after further testing, it seems very unlikely that the problem is related to my NTLite preset / modifications, at least not directly. The same ISO works on another computer with NVidia graphics (DX 9/10/11 programs can be launched). Still need additional testing I guess...

    DirectX 9/10/11 & Windows 10

Thank you, that's something I also suspected. Files seem to be in the good folders (System32/SysWOW64), but that repack is quite old now. I used to integrate it into my Win7 ISOs. Maybe some components do not register correctly or something like that.

    DirectX 9/10/11 & Windows 10

Hello, I sometimes use applications that still require DirectX 9, 10 or 11. Not sure why, but they don't work under my W10 LTSC 2021 (preset attached). I made sure to integrate DirectX End-User Runtime (June 2010). OpenGL, Vulkan & DirectX 12 based programs/games work fine. There is a...
