Tested integrating it now into a clean Win10 image, it works fine.
There is also added complexity with .NET 4.8.1, it has its own branch of updates, no need for both.

Hello,
I download other copy of the windows 10 22H2 ISO file and this time the got the NET 4.8.1 and this fix a lot of issues Ntlite will still list the update but I won't install it.
Thanks for your help
Thanks

Can you attach your preset XML file (making sure there's no user passwords or license keys inside)? This makes it easier to see what NTLite is trying to do on your PC. If you're not saving it under a specific name, it will be one of the Auto-save files in the Preset view.

what NTLite offers is real. but they have released an improved version. put this in instead, and the integration will be successful. check it out.

Your base image is 19045.2913 (April 2023 Preview).

KB5023847 Setup Dynamic Update
KB5022502 NET 4.8 Feb 2023
KB5025183 NET 4.8 Apr 2023 Preview
KB5025185 NET 4.8.1 Preview Apr 2023

KB5025183 (Apr 2023 Preview) supersedes KB5022502 (Feb 2023). NTLite will skip any replaced update, because monthly updates are Cumulative. Everything in a previous CU is provided by later updates.

KB5025185 only applies if NET 4.8.1 was previously added to this base image. It's not clear if that step was done. While you can keep patching a previously patched image, the best method for keeping a functional image is to start from a clean ISO.

1. Download a clean ISO of the Windows release (21H2, 22H2, etc.)
2. Always start from a copy of this ISO. Leave the original file untouched, so you don't have to re-download it
3. Apply the most recent set of CU's:
Windows monthly
NET 4.8.1 base package KB5011048
NET 4.8 monthly
NET 4.8.1 monthly

4. When choosing a monthly CU, pick ONE between the monthly and the monthly preview. The preview is next month's update. Installing both is a waste of time because the preview replaces the non-preview version.
5. Every month or whenever, start from step 2.

Starting from a clean ISO means the update history for a image is absolutely clear. Updating a previously edited image loses track of the history, and makes it difficult for someone else to debug.

Hello,
