Discord installation is corrupt error

When trying to install the Discord desktop application, I get the "Well, it looks like your Discord installation is corrupt" banner message as well as certain features of the application not functioning properly.

When I configured the image, I made sure to check the "Discord" compatibility box hoping that it would be fine. But apparently, it still causes the issue as there's possibly some component(s) that it depends on, other than Windows Presentation Foundation. I've managed to narrow the possibility down to something within the "Network" category, but cannot determine which one it is exactly.

If anyone can help figure this out, that would be greatly appreciated!

The first post only mentioned Windows Presentation Foundation, which is already enabled when the Discord compatibility option was checked. The second post didn't mention anything about this particular issue.

Might is the operative word.
I dont use discord but i remember that it had been discussed. There is no way i could know whether your problem is related or not.
That is why i said "might".
