How to customize the appearance of Windows 10 and 11 professionally?

Does "ntlite" have the ability to change icons, change wallpaper and other things in Windows 10 and 11? If yes, how?
--I really want to learn and build Windows 10 and 11 and make them as perfect as possible in terms of appearance and performance--
Note: I'm fairly new to this program

Haven't seen the option to add or replace anything
but you can use programs to do that and other stuff that can run automated in Post-Setup page

try NTLite and explore the options, some removals & other options are limited to licensed users.

1) Icons I've never researched, but I would check if the proposed solutions tie into WinSxS because certain tweaking approaches, such as directly replacing the icons, could result in an SFC scan reverting them back to the originals.

2) Wallpaper solutions are here (link1, link2), and the best approach is to unset the Aero theme, add a custom wallpaper into the mounted image, then set a registry key to activate the wallpaper (or use a solid color background to save some steps).

3) A related question you might ask is to customize the splash screens (link3) in Windows Setup and elsewhere.

4) The best recommendation I could make for those new to NTLite is to follow other people's guides (link4) to quickly gain familiarity with the NTLite tool, Windows tweaking concepts, and to acquire the hands-on experience needed for better troubleshooting and experimentation. In other words, research things first, and don't recreate the wheel unless the results of the new method are expected to be better than available solutions.

SFC repair would overwrite any system-provided DLL's you've edited.

The only way to prevent this (which I don't recommend) is to replace the WinSxS originals with your modded files. This way, SFC wouldn't try to "fix Windows" since the two versions match. Cumulative Update may decide it needs to update the same DLL's. In that case, you'd have to repeat the same WinSxS replacements after updating every month.
