You know when you do an install and the audio ALWAYS is as loud as h.ll. Place this into the Group police editor\computer configuration\scripts startup\startup\power shell scripts. Save it then copy it from c:\windows\system32\group policy (the whole folder) and when you edit windows with NTLite place it in the same location. When you install the sound it will automatically drop the sound volume to 18%. If you edit the script file you can change the volume at the end of the script. Currently it is set to 0.18 = 18% and 0.5 = 50% etc.

If you setup your taskbar the way you like it......... with the quick links you want and use, for as long as the icons stay in the same place you can export these reg strings and import with a new install......then the install will place the icons back onto the taskbar for you by the time it gets to the desktop.

Export these;

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Streams

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Streams\0

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Streams\Defaults

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Streams\Desktop

One downside to this is that it will look as if the taskbar is very big at first, but wait until the drivers are installed and once you restart the taskbar would look the way you set it in place from the beginning.

These are not for pinned apps. It is shortcuts that is placed in a folder and the folder is than added right click on taskbar\toolbars\new toolbar and then add the folder with the shortcuts. If you right click on the taskbar, right click remove tick at remove text, right remove the tick next to show title and place them in a row. Then you copy the strings and with next install it will place them the way you did earlier. I will post a little later the pics of how to do....it works really cool

NOTE, This folder must never be moved otherwise it will not work.

If you have updated an install and want to run a Live NTLite session then NTLite will sometimes report if there are Operations Pending. If you have added updates and even if you have restarted the pc it hasnt had a dism cleanup. See this post.

There will be bareboned(as much as possible) Scheduled Tasks and Services tweaks for windows 10 1809 LTSC.

These will be built along the same lines as my 8.1 tasks and services files, my own needs, an offline workstation.
The Tasks tweaks will be Disable - Delete - Delete from registry - Delete folders, these will be done first and Services after. This is going to be extremely time consuming and will be ready when they are ready.

They will be bat/cmd files only because many things can only be changed using elevated priviledges so they will need to be run from Power Run UI.

Hope this helps. This is what I rip out of LTSC's registry. I rip it out in the post setup side of NTlite.

This actually is coming with me from 8.1's time and just add to it as I go along

Thanks, i will have a look at it later. Im gonna start from scratch, i know whats what and i add a 1 second timeout between each command and the 8.1 file has been working flawlessly, it just takes a little while. I will work on other tweaks later, services and tasks are my 1st lot of tweaks now and reaslly make a difference.

I wonder what does every removed key.

Almost all keys are repeated 4 times (~200 removed), I just sorted out in Notepad++.

For pinned apps, it also remembers theirs location. :)

Backup icons from this folder: %AppData%\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch\User Pinned\TaskBar
Backup reg from: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Taskband
Copy icons back to the folder, import .reg, restart explorer - taskkill /im explorer.exe /f & explorer.exe

Welcome TairikuOkami :) Please post a link on your profile to your Pastebin please, really great scripts.

TairikuOkami has many excellent tweaks on his Pastebin, they have given me ideas and a basic knowledge of batch files, highly recommended. :)

ultraform "stop wininet cache" by e_web may work on 8.1, its here somewhere.
Try disable/delete task/delete task from registry/delete folder(entries in my 8.1 scheduled task tweak) aswell. Check with ccleaner if it works.

If you are using the old Take Ownership context menu tweak, either from winaero tweaker or tenforums then dont remove Powershell, they both use it. Compared to the tweak for 7 and 8.1 the new version(i tried on 10 1809) is bloody horrendous, multiple powersmell and cmd windows and it bogs my system down until its finished. nuhi, can you add a warning to Powershells Component notes please.

200+ services disabled on LTSC. Task Scheduler, Schedule, disabled. Stable.
LTSC sucks monkey balls and its the best out of a bad bunch for pity sake.
