I thought the EU market doesn't get Copilot because of data privacy laws. Or least until MS comes up with an EU-compliant version.

Exactly, EU versions shouldn't come with 1/2 the stuff that bloats the iso. media player, browser, copilot just to name a few because of anti - competition rules . We're supposed to have just the base OS ( from what i read ) without all the ms bells and whistles, unless an agreement was sorted out behind closed doors and a few benjamins changed hands

If the iso program is good then I am okay with that since I have no loyalty to any other program

I really like SMplayer so I couldn't see myself using any other, however some old games I play need windows media player to work properly.

Edge is my go too browser just don't update it very often if things are working as I like

Copilot is probably something I would never use and would be on my purge list.

Windows is a be all end all OS. Almost like school, you learn a lot of things but do you need all those things you learned... depends on the person.

Funny - for every new release of Windows - more i remove - bigger install image get and same footprint for install.
And it's more funny (read actually sad), as the big tech companies present more stuff to control users behaviour and make it lullaby!

Plan for Windows 10 EOS with Windows 11, Windows 365, and ESU

Extended Security Update program for Windows 10

While we strongly recommend moving to Windows 11, we understand there are circumstances that could prevent you from replacing Windows 10 devices before the EOS date. Therefore, Microsoft will offer Extended Security Updates.

Like the Windows 7 ESU program, your organization will be able to purchase a yearly subscription to security updates. The yearly commitment is renewable for three years. Devices enrolled in ESUs will receive monthly security updates to keep these Windows 10 PCs secure.

The ESU program for Windows 10 will include critical and/or important security updates. ESUs do not include new features, customer-requested non-security updates, or design change requests. Technical support beyond the ESU itself is also not available.
  • For Windows 365 customers, ESUs will be provided for the Windows 10 devices that connect to a Cloud PC running Windows 11 at no additional cost.
  • If you run a Windows 10 instance in Azure Virtual Desktop, ESUs will also be available at no additional charge on those virtual machines (consumption not included).
Stay tuned for more ESU program updates as we approach availability, including an ESU program for individual consumers.

Which option must you keep activated, so that it doesn't remove the welcome screen from windows, and I left the first logon animation checked, even so, when the welcome screen arrives, it says preparing windows, how can I remove this ? And return to default? thanks

There are two Welcome screens, one is from OOBE and the second from New User account setup.

Disabling first logon animation will save 10 seconds of waiting from New User setup. OOBE Welcome screens cannot be skipped, Windows is still working to finish the install.
