Code:
Dism /Capture-Image /ImageFile:C:\capwim\install.wim /CaptureDir:X:\ /Name:LTSC2021 /ConfigFile:C:\path\to\WimScript.ini

good bit of news is dism is obeying the wimscript by not capturing Administrator.
bye bye gimagex as my primary capture tool.
Code:
v2.2.0 14th June 2018 Compiled against the latest WIMGAPI libraries supplied in the Windows ADK for Windows 10 1803.

Hellbovine one side effect of running your Optimize script before sysprep is that it is running a system cleanup(maintenance) task so that once captured and mounted there is only 2.2MB(yes, megabytes) of winsxs cleanouts reported. paired with a thorough(and customised to the particular build) wimscript the resulting capture is extremely clean.

no im not running a dism cleanup before capture because i believe that is best done on a mounted image where none of the files are in use.

New clean interface for the Ntlite forums. Also like the added touch showing previous topics I have responded to before.

Well done

at least its an incremental upgrade rather than a full on redesign like the win-raid change was, that was bloody awful :(
still havnt got used to it but luckily i dont need to go there anymore.

Windows 10 21h2 installed on a new dell w11 home laptop(12th gen cpu - £50 off sale) with working (from Intel)igpu driver+control panel(non dch). RESULT!!!

Has anyone dabbled in bios editing with a hex editor before. On my older machine want to be able to set some numbers in my ram and other settings to edit that cannot be done but should be able to.

I have, but it's definitely not trivial. You will have to do a ton of research (took me like two months) in order to understand which tools to extract your BIOS properly, how to safely replace values, how to backup the existing BIOS and reflash it without bricking your PC.

Hopefully you have a popular BIOS or PC model that you can find an existing thread on a BIOS modding site. I didn't, but managed to replace the Intel CPU firmware in mine, and unlock the supported devices whitelist.

Microcodes are always good and over the past six months have tried hex editor on a old game. Melts the brain for sure.

Winraid site had my bios worked on since 2019 which is insane for microcodes but getting different setting is a different beast entirely.

good grief . its a laptop with a 12th gen cpu(and 8gb ram 256gb ssd) that was on a deal with £50 off its usual price making the total of £298 with free next day delivery. You no risten.

I reread the '-' symbol and realized that it means a minus sign... 298 pounds sounds pretty good. I was almost scared to death just now.o_O

Haha, reducing the price by 50 pounds is still a shocking figure. You snatched it first, not me.:(

Does anyone else get small micro stutters when Nvidia Ansel is on even when they don't use it or even knew about it lol.I totally just found out about this and it bothered the heck out of me not knowing it was Ansel when playing games!

Stopped it in Nvidia inspector and it all is good now.

Hello. Is ntlight still for sale? It seems like there is no one on the site - no one answers by email about buying a license. Is the project alive?
