I used NTLite beta v1.8.0.6842 to remove windows defender and other apps. When i try to install the update KB4495666 from windows update i got this error 0x800f081f.

I've yet to test but could you fix these problems?
Yeah, as you can see it was quite busy these days, now need to rest, then will check that list, thank you.

Still seems remove reinstalls have a challange with driver section
Please redownload the same build, fixed that message away - it was due to the permission fixes for the GPO, was just missing a check to skip when not necessary.

OK, fix for Remove Returns tool released in the build 7046+.

Thanks @Windows 10 User (in an earlier thread) and mentro for reporting it.

Let me know if there are still ways to provoke this type of error, otherwise as always please open a new thread.

So, I installed the penultimate CU, removed Windows Security which had returned, successfully installed the latest CU but Windows Security returned again so it looks like it will return every time a CU is installed so it's annoying. I hope I can install the next CU.

Well, you said you'd reply back last monday...

That's the idea, remove returns by cumulative update.

I'll be more careful and not give you exact time frames in the future, as I see you have no understanding for exceptions.

Well, it looks like you're always making exceptions since it wasn't the first time or the tenth.

If i have to go to hospital annd some poor bastard comes in after me with a bloody heart attack he gets seen 1st, i may not like it i have to wait each time a new life threatening case comes in but thats the way it works. Priorities.
For someone who hasnt paid to use the product you dont half complain so stfu and be bloody grateful, nearly 2 years and still with the poormouth.
Or piss off and use msmg.

Bad comparison. What about that user who was saying "bump, nuhi" every day (and more than once) and no one gave a s***?

Especially when I mentioned them way before other users.
What do you think is the process how I reach the conclusion what's a priority?
Would you prioritize each or those reports that repeat in a short amount of time. The point of prioritization means ignoring the majority.
Depends how many users/reports you have, NTLite is quite popular and at some point I had to switch from individual to a group reporting collection.

One person bumping a topic makes no difference, especially if there wasn't day or two between bumps. Also you won't believe this, but it's possible to miss a report, especially having so many tabs open as I do, waiting on a review.

Maybe you would like to be a direct influencer, whatever is posted is taken like gospel. For that I maybe listen to 3-4 people, and they reached that level because they are polite, patient, report concisely and are with me for years.

I also have a stream of wishes written down, but do I prioritize those; no, I prioritize what the majority tells me is an issue or a feature request.
Max I can decide is to point the solution towards something I would like to see down the line, it's like a normal job, listening to the boss, which in this case are the users (not a user).

Go to Microsoft forums and have a laugh on how many negative people are there.
Consider this a warning, only reason why I don't just ignore you is because you do have hits, but give me some space.
Skip the tool if it's not what you seek, check the alternatives, take a pause, make your own scripts or whatever, there are solutions if the issues are so unavoidable and urgent.

But many users reported certain problems and only after a long time they were fixed (and maybe not all). That user bumped many threads, I don't want to be an influencer (I don't even know why you said this) and it was you who said who was obsessed with editing Windows. Anyway, I'm sorry.

who is that user exactly?

That may also mean that you read the forum more than I do, probably right what you say. Only place where we disagree is on the fairness of my prioritization. That is something you'll have to let me make my own mistakes and grow through constructive criticism.
Being negative just pushes me in the non-productive direction.

Each change on the changelog means I listened to someone, can't listen to everyone all the time, simple physics.
Maybe we should deep-learn the forum, waiting on a plugin ;)

He means on this thread, I cleaned up the bump messages back then as it was looking silly. Polite user, didn't realize that it would be more effective to send me an email or a direct message, one bump is same as million bumps if I didn't look in that tab.
There is no way that I would deliberately deny helping such a polite person.
It can also be seen from the replies, if it's not enough that I remembered which thread it was.

Hi,
not sure I understand, but to resolve any problem just install same or newer Insider ISO (run .\setup.exe from it) and it will migrate the files.

Let me know if you have a preset which demonstrates cumulative update install breaking using the latest version of the tool.
Thanks.
