makes sense to me too. and thanks so performance is not a deal when reducing timer i see some people saying disable dynamic ticks reduces their stuttering it makes sense since it might reduce inputlag and they feel the game more responsive right ? but when at the same time getting slightly less frametimes/0.1%/1% i think its not noticeable for many people as the inputlag of dynamic tick (if there be an input lag increase)Dynamic timers vs static fixed hz timers both have benefits and drawbacks, in Linux land a dynamic tick kernel has higher throughput, but higher latency/jitter vs lets say 1000hz tick kernel. It can very well be true that disabling dynamic ticks will also reduce fps throughput a tiny bit, but my tests shown this to be negligable (pretty much within margin of error), and frametimes/0.1%/1% lows slightly increased.
Because with dynamic tick kernel it waits until it has to do something, and often it coalesces various tasks at once but this can also mean increased load spikes at these intervals, fixed interval tick kernel will just do whatever has to be done as soon as possible so it spreads out more evenly.
At least, thats my theory on it.
that what i said about acronis true image service it makes my windows bsod if i disable startup of it at boot time i dont know whySeems fiddling with most 'boot' (0) startup level just makes windows BSOD, even putting ErrorLevel to Ignore. Like ReadyBoot and Bitlocker stuff still BSOD's i think. Most auto start or system level can be tinkered with.
Still wondering if somehow this can be overridden.

i disabled every thing about it as much as it was possible he is sleeping most of the time now yeah its huge appThats actually really weird. Is there some free trial? I really hate all these backup solutions just adding services/driver. Aomei does this too.
Pretty sure they can just use windows volume shadow copy with minimal dependencies.
Edit: Yuck, trying the trial version of 600+MB, it adds roughly 20+ entries to my autoruns, 6 services, like 5 drivers, this is an instant red flag for me. Its almost as much entries as my windows installation. Totally unnecessary for a backup solution. LOL. Now I'm not surprised things start going downhill if you disable parts of it. This is software to avoid like the plague.
I've never had problems with aomei backupper, which also adds an (optional) service and maybe one or two kernel drivers, its not perfect but at least cleaner, and has usb boot rescue disk, all you need really.
Edit2: Disabling driver entries totally destroy the bootup, BSOD. Not even going to burn my hands on this.
