GamerOS Windows 10 & 11 DIY Preset

Hello, I have a little problem when I go to a folder and I want to put it in tiles or large icons, the folder returns to the original. I don't know what I touched. If someone can help me, thank you.
 
i would like to enable whatever it is where you click a link and it opens the browser/link. In the current condition of this setting it just ignores what links you've clicked. I tried looking through settings but I'm not sure which setting would be doing this?

I've never dealt with this personally, maybe a permissions issue if you ever messed with that, You could try a program called WinSetView.

Look Settings > Privacy > ShellBags
 
Hello everybody, looking into making a custom windows install for my next system, I played around with NTlite a couple times following some youtube videos mainly unchecking the telemetry and a lot of preinstalled programs. Just watched Chris Titus' video he mentioned this is meant for strictly gaming, it still allows for internet browsing right?
 
Earlier versions of the preset tried to minimize non-gaming features, but it was dialed back to help with better desktop support. Edge was removed to allow users to pick their own browser. If you prefer to keep Edge, then you can open the preset in Notepad and remove all the removal lines for Edge and EdgeUpdater.

least win 11 file has some bugs noticed win+ tab icons blurs. The upload for september 2024, 24h2
 
I finally got around to making the new system I grabbed the preset for Windows 11 24h2 in September and even though the previous presets mention returning microsoft accounts I can't log in or do anything in the store. The store also says edge is installed but it's not found anywhere, and doing anything is extremely slow even with a 9800x3d

I believe something changed in the Store App, because everyone using GamerOS and NTLite's gaming template are complaining you can't browse selected apps, before the Store App crashes. This wasn't a problem going back to last year, which suggests either a recent Windows update or a newer Store App dependency is causing the issue.

Right now, I don't think anyone has a good clue what needs to be restored to make it work again.

Yeah it's something I am trying to narrow down at the moment on my build. Didn't notice it till too late but got the apps I needed anyways before it happened.

This problem has been resolved in the latest NTLite version (v2025.04.10373). Removing ‘Proximity – Wi-Fi Direct’ broke the Store app.

Jeeze seriously wifi direct of all things caused this. This is why windows is sooooo weird
