I enjoy the windows store. I use my computer not only for gaming but also for tv shows and movies. Windows store provides me with the apps I need for that as well as Dolby Atmos which cannot be installed without the store.For me, removing components is not about increasing performance. In fact, I doubt there's much of a tangible difference in doing so unless a person is using old hardware. It's to remove major annoyances that have been baked into the OS, such as the Windows Store and many of the telemetry services that gather information for no benefit to the end user.
My hope for the future is that there will be more documentation for component removal and compatibility with other Windows features.
I also use Smplayer for my videos. Took some time to tweak it properly but now it's golden!
F33thy is a YouTube guy that goes into depth for input lag and the best settings for Windows 10-11. I would check him out since it might help you as well.
There is also a nice app I got online
It really great in disabling things that you may not need in a nice and easy to use interface. I even bought it on steam since it was super inexpensive and wanted to support the guy.
