Edit the preset in a text editor, find and delete the lines:

i forgot to ask i use a keybord that is turkish q so do i need to delete it too? and is wifi supported in this preset?

anyone knows how to make xbox app work? it crash immediately, I'm using "xbox console companion" app and store to install and use xbox games so it's not a real problem but I'm just curious to know why

what do you have removed?

is enabled "automatic updates" in the store's settings?
 
nVidia control panel is missing
and even installing it via winget or microsoft store will not help. Each logon the error is displayed that nVidia control panel is missing.
Any ideas?
 
I've seen another report of problems with nvidia's control panel but I don't understand what could be causing problems in gameros preset, it seems to me that the minimum necessary is maintained but this removes a lot of things that I personally don't remove like wifi, file sharing, bluetooth... They are network services and a specific peripheral but many times seemingly unrelated things can cause problems.

When I remove or disable some network related things in boot.wim I have problems with ventoy.

Txmmy's preset is geared for the dedicated gamer, almost to the point he assumes you have an unmodded PC for normal work.
The "sweet spot" is probably somewhere in btw GamerOS and NTLite's Gaming template.
 
All my presets contain all ntlite's provided templates "privacy/gaming and lite" with the errors that they cause'd for me as gamer fixed, I've fixed all provided presets, nothing in these presets break latest nvidia control panel any issue I've ever got is all down to UAC remove UAC and control panel breaks, change UAC I would assume it breaks

Gaming Template - Windows Media Player should not be removed it removes media foundation from feature list and games like rust tell you media foundation is gone

Lite Template - Should Not Be Removed
Breaks Registry

I read stories on other sites, where disabling UAC causes weird errors with specific apps launched from the taskbar. The question would be, does NVIDIA Control Panel still work if called by "nvcplui.exe"?
 
Ive gone much further then these presets, and can still install nvidia downloaded latest drivers install and everything works, thru the regular user methods, everything functions as expected, control panel, geforce and game capture, nvidia log in, installs the app in start menu right click and open control panel all works with no added manipulation

Call me weird, whatever. I like using MS Weather.
I found a thread somewhere that instructed to remove a few Microsoft Store entries from the preset and all would be good.
Like:
Microsoft.StorePurchaseApp 'StorePurchaseApp'
Microsoft.WindowsStore 'Windows Store'

Well, all is not good. The MS Store icon is there but clicking on it has no affect whatsoever.
Tried installing through Powershell and IRM but one of the missing dependencies was giving me a headache so I said to hell with it.

Here is the preset.

The app is called Bing.Weather

I noticed it's the GamerOs preset that has had store and all removed. Personally, i would restart the iso build but before applying it, add the widgets and features you need first instead of trying to add them after

I've tried this several times and can't seem to locate all the dependencies.
