GamerOS Windows 10 & 11 DIY Preset

I agree that laziness is a big part of it, but it's also easy to see there are literally thousands of posts that shouldn't be on this forum, due to people's inexperience. It's really easy for veterans to forget what it's like to be a newbie--the masses don't understand where the goal posts are and how to reach them, because they are overwhelmed and have no idea where to even start, so they need to be guided.

It's not entirely the newbie's faults either, because older operating systems are orders of magnitude less complicated than modern ones, which made it easier for many of the veterans here to learn computers, while everyone else has it much harder by being introduced to a behemoth like Windows 10/11 when they get started, along with the plethora of internet misinformation out there that is further complicating things.

Combine that with the negative aspects of modern society, such as a failing education system that has resulted in 50% of adults in developed countries like the U.S.A. having less than a 6th grade reading level, and a nation-wide average of 8th grade, we can see how our upbringing can skew our views on complicated matters, especially when many of us computer nerds also have secondary education and/or professional experience.

Have over 800 removals in NTL on W11 (with payed version) - and still Steam is working for all the game addicts.
Most often the "kids" can't afford the correct hardware and therefore their games don't work.
NTL is not the culprit even have a game template.
Why is templates there - NTL is supposed so be a removal tool if talking about veterans!?!
Youngsters only want to have everything served on an a template and don't want to work for it.

I didnt get windows 7 pro 64bit installed at 1.26(1.16?)GB(last preset built on ntlite 1.2.0-4861) overnight and in a single session.
Going straight from XP to w7 was a culture shock and a hell of a learning experience.
I am using the same methodology(trim the fat) that i used on XP on 7 8.1 and w10 and its a system that works very well for me.

Started on an early rubber keyboard unit - I can't remember the name and then a C64, and from there it degenerated through XP - without me having learned anything and discovered with Slim7 and whatever else they've called all the old slimmers day with W7.
Then it took off from there....
Have changed hardware so often since, that's another story

I was working on the gamerOs version and I corrected the errors, let's see if this preset works for people, the Bluetooth store already works correctly, I found no problems. If anyone finds something wrong, I would appreciate it if you could tell me or correct it, thanks

EDIT.
I just found a problem. the wifi drivers do not install, it says: windows found the drivers but could not install them'' error code 37
any ideas? After this the xml file is perfectly functional.
hope can help with this.

Error code 37 has nothing to do with GamerOS, Wi-Fi works for many users. Check you have the correct Wi-Fi drivers, and loaded the extracted driver files under Drivers.

Hello, is there a guide to install a language? The iso I want to use comes with English language. I want to remove this language and set Spanish as default. How is it done? I have the Spanish package Extracted from azure . I tried to remove the english language and had this error

received error 14003, the referred assembly is not installed on your system." When trying to remove the English package. I already integrated the Spanish language but I cannot eliminate English. A little help would be very good for me :)

You can't remove English if it's the base Windows language. Why don't you just download the Spanish ISO edition? Everything works the same except for the default language and locales.

US english - en-us is the base language of every iso.

Why don't you just download the Spanish ISO edition?
Im getting a whiff of frankenbrew.

I can understand his point of view because uneeded languages are a big bone of contention with me but having to keep one additonal language due to technical reasons isnt a big deal when there are far more fish to fry.

No, it's a very important distinction especially if the boot.wim's base language doesn't match the install.wim.

You end up in strange abbodi territory by trying to hack around the manifests. But to your point, if you started with a clean image and a preset, then it shouldn't be a problem switching language editions. After that it's just updating the Unattended sections.

If i needed to add additional languages to a untouched ms iso i would add the language packs only then sysprep/capture, that way they are already nicely baked in.

I did not uninstall the English language for compatibility reasons, instead I added Spanish Mx.cab and in the unattended section I put Spanish as the language,Works. But part of windows is still displayed in English

The better way is start with Spanish Windows and add the es-MX & en-US LP's. Then the system always defaults to Spanish text.
